My Story
Welcome to AW Performance Horses! My name is Amanda Wiemken, and I'm thrilled to invite you into the world of equestrian excellence that I've dedicated my life to.
From a young age, horses have been my passion and my purpose. I grew up immersed in the horse show world, spending countless hours at 4-H events, state fairs, and local shows. These early experiences instilled in me a deep love for these majestic animals and sparked a lifelong journey of learning and growth.

As I transitioned into adulthood, I continued to pursue my passion for horses at the quarter horse level. Achieving the title of finalist at the esteemed Quarter Horse Congress was a dream come true and a testament to years of hard work and dedication.
But for me, true fulfillment comes from sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. That's why I've dedicated myself to mentoring the next generation of riders, helping them discover the joy and wonder of life with horses. Whether it's teaching a young rider the basics of horsemanship or guiding a horse through a therapeutic riding session, I find immense fulfillment in helping both humans and horses alike find healing and purpose.

My journey as a therapeutic riding instructor has been incredibly rewarding, and I'm proud to hold certification in the Equine Wisdom Integration Method. Through this work, I've witnessed firsthand the transformative power of horses and the profound impact they can have on our lives.
